Wishing all of our families a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year! See you in 2018!
Welcome to the season of Advent and the month of December. This is such a special and significant time of year for us. A time of waiting, a time for hope, love, joy, and peace. As a school community, we celebrate each Monday with our Advent Liturgies. All family members are welcome to attend. Below you will also see other December highlights, which are also found on our school website calendar.
Please note, we have scheduled our Christmas Concert on December 20th, beginning at 12:30 in the Church basement. This is a parent viewing time. All students will be able to see each class perform during the dress rehearsal scheduled on the 19th. This allows for more space and timely performances. A schedule will be sent out in the near future.
May the blessings of the Christmas season be with you and your families throughout the season and into the new year!
ADVENT EMAILS FOR CHILDREN IN JUNIOR GRADES
Students in grades 4-6 are invited to join an Advent “Who (or what) am I?” email group. Each day of Advent you will receive an email with a riddle describing something or someone found in one of the accounts in the Bible of the time surrounding Christ’s birth. Each person or thing in scripture helps us to draw closer to the mystery of God who became human like us. You can spend the day trying to figure out who or what the riddle means. The answer will be sent the following morning along with a new riddle to puzzle out. If you would like to receive these emails throughout Advent, please have a parent or guardian send Paula an email at email@example.com before Sunday, December 3, the first Sunday of Advent!
